CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership is currently accepting resumes for a Full-Time Special Projects Manager.

The Full-Time Special Projects Manager works under the direction of the Vice President of Systems Transformation. The Special Projects Manager collaborates with CQL Management Team members in planning, organizing, executing, monitoring, and directing projects to successful completion. This position is multi-faceted and requires the ability to work on multiple projects, with a variety of people, in a variety of positions internally, as well as with external customers. This is not an IT role, rather a position supporting various teams to successfully plan and execute project activities ranging from grants, product/resource development and revisions, to systems enhancements.

The successful Special Projects Manager will have the experience and expertise to effectively utilize technology to facilitate project objectives while monitoring progress and meeting deadlines. Beyond tracking timelines and associated deliverables, the Special Projects Manager will play a very active role in the actual completion of the tasks and objectives themselves.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Analyze contract, grant, project requirements
• Work with teams to identify desired outcomes and timelines
• Develop deadlines, identify tasks, and create plans for timely completion
• Work to identify staff needs related to project activities and work with colleagues to schedule and deploy staff as needed
• Assign responsibilities, track task completion, and support team members in successfully completing requirements
• Participate as an active team member fulfilling assigned tasks and activities
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation – providing reports as needed
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Participate in the development of new tools and resources to support ongoing quality enhancement
• Maintain a high level of communication across multiple projects and staff
