President – St. Coletta of Wisconsin
St. Coletta of Wisconsin is a highly respected and innovative nonprofit organization that serves more than 500 individuals with developmental disabilities and other challenges (DD). Our beloved longtime President will be retiring, and we are searching for a strategic, visionary, and collaborative individual to serve as our next President. The President will oversee all aspects of the organization to achieve both success and growth and will lead the organization in fulfilling our Franciscan mission to provide high-quality, client-driven programs and services. Founded in 1904, St. Coletta is dedicated to upholding the rights of persons with disabilities so they may be included in all aspects of life, participate as full citizens, and receive the support they require to achieve their highest quality of life, personal growth, and spiritual awareness. The President will work on-site at our headquarters in Jefferson, WI (midway between Milwaukee and Madison) and periodically travel to Greater Milwaukee and Greater Chicago areas.
Qualified Candidates must have:
- Minimum 10-15 years of key executive leadership experience, preferably in a nonprofit. Significant experience in the DD field preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience overseeing major programs, three years of which must include financial responsibility. Thorough understanding of financial concepts.
- Proven management skills in an executive leadership role overseeing all aspects of an organization.
- Extensive, proven, and documented supervisory experience at a variety of levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience. Advanced college degree preferred in related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with donors and be a successful fundraiser
- Commitment to work in partnership with our founders, the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, to fulfill the mission of St. Coletta of Wisconsin, which is rooted in Franciscan values.
- Knowledge of and experience with CARF accreditation and relevant regulations, requirements, and government programs preferred.
