Call for AAIDD Liaisons: Help Support AAIDD’s Mission
AAIDD is seeking members of the Association who are passionate about advancing the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities to serve as AAIDD Liaisons for their state, territory, or country.
The Liaison role is designed to help increase awareness of AAIDD’s work, share our resources, and expand our reach across networks, organizations, and communities. Liaisons serve as local champions who help promote the benefits of AAIDD membership and the influence of our collective mission.
Roles and Expectations:
- Must be a member of AAIDD.
- Increase visibility of AAIDD and its mission, activities, and resources.
- Promote membership benefits and encourage others in the field to join AAIDD.
- Share information about AAIDD initiatives, publications, and events through your professional networks or organizational channels.
- Participate in periodic Liaison meetings or briefings (virtual).
