The Honor Cord for is ideal for AAIDD Fellows as part of their academic regalia. The AAIDD Honor Cord signifying Fellow status in the Association consists of three intertwined colors: blue, green, and silver. The intertwined cords are 3/8 inch thick, 5 feet long, and have 4-inch tassels on each end that do not shed on clothing.

An honor cord consists of twisted cords with tassels on either end that recognizes academic and nonacademic honors or achievements. They are most often worn at academic ceremonies and functions along with cap, gown, and hood.
