The American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD)  switched today to a new membership software platform, MemberLeap, supported by Vieth Consulting.

The membership software platform supports members as they join, renew, access journals, register for events, make bookstore purchases, and donate online. The platform is also used to send emails and newsletters to AAIDD members.

AAIDD expects this new platform will be easier for members to use to access their member benefits. As with any change however, some hiccups are to be expected as members will need to set up new passwords and may need to adjust their email settings to recognize the new domain being used to send member emails.  Please note the following:

Privacy best practices do not allow us to migrate passwords into the new system; all users will need to reset their passwords. Check your email for a temporary password.

Your email settings may have to be adjusted to prevent AAIDD's emails from being blocked from delivery.  Members and other users are encouraged to (a) check their spam filters to find AAIDD emails incorrectly marked as spam and  (b) "white light" the "viethconsulting.com" domain so that future AAIDD emails will be seamlessly delivered.
