Paul D. Aitken serves as AAIDD’s Director of Finance &
Administration, and in this capacity is responsible for all aspects of
the Association’s financial affairs, as well as handling IT, HR
and other administration-related tasks.
Prior to joining AAIDD, Paul worked at PAI Management Corporation, an association management firm.
He earned a bachelor's in business administration (accounting major)
from West Virginia University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA,
State of Maryland) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
In 2015, Paul was recognized for 25 years of service to the Association
and in 2017, he was the recipient of the AAIDD President's Award.
