Full Time/Term - Sikeston

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform assessment of individuals identified with an Autism Spectrum Disorder to develop treatment plans, working with a multidisciplinary team as needed
  • Create and implement treatment plans appropriate for home, community, and educational settings, as well as assisting team with implementation
  • Provide ABA services for school-based contract in Sikeston
  • Assist in the training and supervision of school staff seeking RBT certification
  • Contribute to research projects and data collection for state initiatives
  • Assist in program development as it relates to the preparation of professionals
  • Provide clinical supervision of practicum students/interns/externs

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a service related field
  • Board certified as a Behavior Analyst
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder for assessment and treatment purposes
  • Ability to supervise practicum students, interns, and externs
  • Ability to establish collaborative partnerships within the University and among regional service providers including school districts
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of research activities
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
  • Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
