2007 DISABILITY POLICY SEMINAR

New Congress, New Opportunities

Sunday, March 4 – Tuesday, March 6, 2007

The Hyatt Regency Hotel
400 New Jersey Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20001

The Arc of the United States, United Cerebral Palsy, AAIDD(formerly AAMR), the Association of University Centers on Disability and the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities are joining together again to host the 2007 Disability Policy Seminar. It is critical that the disability community and other interested participants from around the country participate in this three-day seminar. Preserving and strengthening the federal policies and programs important to people with disabilities is our top priority.

The Disability Policy Collaboration, with these national leading organizations in the field of developmental disabilities, including mental retardation and cerebral palsy, brings together state and local executives and affiliates, self-advocates, families, providers and others for two-days of in-depth policy discussions/meetings focused solely on issues affecting people with disabilities and their families. On the third and final day, participants visit Capitol Hill to deliver a unified message that Congress and the Administration cannot continue dismantling the benefits and services important to the disability community.

Pre-registration is now closed. Please register onsite.

The onsite registration fees for the 2007 Seminar are $325 per person and
$200 per person for self-advocates, full-time students or trainees.

Registration fees cannot be invoiced and must be paid for with a credit card on the Web site or by calling AAMR/AAIDD at (202) 387-1968. Credit card information also can be faxed to (202) 387-2193 (make sure to include the purchase order #).
