We will be gathering at the L’Enfant
Plaza Hotel in Washington, DC on May 28-30th, 2008, where we will focus
on The
New Professional: Leadership in Science, Practice, Policy and Advocacy.
There will be four plenary sessions: Are
Genes Destiny?; Living a Real Life; The New Professional and It’s
a New World! The plenary speakers will be “top notch” and
each session will be followed by several breakout sessions that will
elaborate on the respective issues and challenges. In addition
to having the opportunity of networking with your old friends and colleagues,
this meeting will be a wonderful opportunity to welcome students and
new disability professionals to our Association.
